Carolyn, our firm’s founder and leader, has always been a true advocate for her clients. Even before she became an attorney, she was determined to improve the circumstances of those around her, as well as help others communicate — which is probably what guided her to study international relations before attending law school.
Since becoming an attorney, Carolyn has continued helping people express their needs and finding efficient solutions to meet those needs. Whether her clients need a plan for the future, a resolution to a problem, or a fresh start, she’s always up for the challenge.
Bill is our business manager and paralegal. Before joining the firm in 2009, he wore several hats in the business world, working as a manager, a business owner, and a management consultant over the years.
When Bill decided to bring his experience to our firm, we quickly realized it was a good fit. His business knowledge gives our team unique insight into a wide range of legal matters, including bankruptcy, negotiation, and government agency behavior. With both Bill and Carolyn on their side, our clients are definitely in good hands.
Our practice has certainly evolved over the years — partially due to the regular trial and error that comes with decades of experience, and partially because we’ve always believed that it’s never too late to improve even more.
For instance, our initial practice didn’t include estate planning or probate work. As time went on, though, some of our early clients started to get older, and they sought our help. They were beginning to think about their futures, their families, and their legacies and realized they needed to build secure estate plans. After taking on their cases and helping to put their minds at ease, we expanded our practice. Since then, it has continued to grow and, we hope, will keep growing for the sake of our current and future clients.
Through study and practice, we've worked to become even more effective in the way we communicate with our clients. Every solution, we feel, starts with understanding.
We don’t expect you to know all of your options — that’s what we’re here for. We’ll explain the legalities and offer you choices. As we proceed, we encourage you to ask questions.
Just because we’re experienced doesn’t mean we’re set in our ways. When we see an opportunity to improve our practice or better serve our clients, we take it.
There are plenty of law firms out there that genuinely care about the well-being of their clients — and we’re proud to say that we’re one of them. We aren’t after fame or glory or obscene wealth. We’re just a growing firm composed of people who want to put their skills to use in a meaningful way. So far, that desire has led us to work with people facing family law, bankruptcy, estate planning, and probate concerns. As we look to the future, we hope to find even more ways of guiding others through life’s legal challenges.
