Choosing the Right Legal Tool
Attorney Carolyn Moller Duncan has extensive experience in family law, bankruptcy and estate planning matters. She uses the legal tools which are most appropriate for the task at hand. In family law issues involving potential or actual conflict, these tools primarily involve mediation and negotiation.
She believes that if clients have input into their own agreement, they will generally be more satisfied with it than if they let the court make choices for them. Mediation takes your emotional concerns into account and offers realistic solutions from which all sides can benefit.
However, when it is necessary to protect our client’s rights and interests, she will litigate assertively to achieve our client’s goals.
