Knowledge comes from books, wisdom comes from experience
Littleton Divorce and Bankruptcy Law Firm
We are a small family firm with sound experience, exhaustive knowledge, and assertive litigation skills. We are fun-loving people with an easy-going office culture, but we present a tough, well prepared, and powerful front when we enter the courtroom, mediation or negotiations—ready to defend our clients from being run over by the system or the opposition.
We put a distinct emphasis on communication with our clients, and we strive to do all we can to help you overcome even the most complex legal challenges. Carolyn Duncan is the attorney and Bill Duncan is the business manager and paralegal. We subcontract with other highly qualified individuals to supplement when necessary.
Both Bill & Carolyn are dedicated to creating a small responsive law office where you receive professional representation and close personal support during your difficult times. A place where you can ask the questions you can’t ask friends or family. A place where you can questions the answers so you really understand.
Carolyn Duncan received her BA in International Relations from Florida State University. She then received her J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She was admitted to the Georgia Bar and the Alabama Bar in 1992.
She began her career working for a law firm in Columbus, Georgia, handling family law and divorce cases. Later she worked as a Legal Assistance Attorney in the Office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) at Fort Benning, Georgia, and was promoted to Chief of the Legal Assistance Division.
In 2002 she moved to Colorado, was admitted to the Colorado Bar and continued her law practice. With over twenty years of law practice experience, she is able to take apart the puzzling problems you face and communicate directly with you.
